Financial Reporting Specialist

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the company's financial success. You will collaborate closely with senior management to deliver accurate and timely financial information that empowers executive leaders to make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to prepare and analyze monthly management accounts
  • Presenting financial results at meetings
  • Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and BAS/IAS returns
  • Managing external auditor relations and audit queries
  • Partnering with commercial managers to prepare budgets and forecasts
  • Supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable as needed
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in Australian accounting and tax, preferably in related sectors
  • A qualified accountant (CA/CPA preferred)
  • Relevant experience in diverse revenue streams such as memberships, events, and advertising
  • Sage Intacct experience is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with Chargebee and HubSpot is an advantage
  • Highly autonomous and self-motivated
  • Process improvement-oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
