Job Summary

This role is responsible for leading critical operations within the Special Operations Team. The Senior Specialist will deliver high-priority operational imperatives in finance processes, providing immediate relief to capacity-challenged teams and assessing resource planning.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in end-to-end finance processes, with experience in general accounting, including US GAAP and IFRS. Proficiency in ERP Systems and Microsoft Excel is also required.

We are seeking a highly skilled professional who can execute activities to enhance quality, stabilize operations, and identify process improvements. The successful candidate will be able to review team capacity and utilization regularly.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Relieve DBS functions experiencing capacity challenges.
  2. Assess and improve resource planning with the Senior Team Lead.
  3. Execute activities to enhance quality with Managers/Sr Managers.
  4. Stabilize operations and identify process improvements.
  5. Review team capacity and utilization regularly.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field; CPA highly desirable.

Minimum 5 years' experience in end-to-end finance processes (AP, AR & GL, FA, Intercompany & Lease).

At least 3+ years in shared services model.

Experience in general accounting, including US GAAP and IFRS, Fixed Asset, Cash Management, and Intercompany Accounting.

Proficiency in ERP Systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and Microsoft Excel (basic to complex formulas, pivoting, graphs, and charts).

Six-sigma trained and proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (SharePoint, Web-based applications) are preferred.
