Accounts Payable Specialist Role

This is a mid-senior level finance role where you will be responsible for managing budgets, strategic planning and overseeing financial operations across Asia Pacific.

As an accounts payable specialist, your work will enable colleagues across the company to focus on their core work, whether delivering vital healthcare products or fresh fruit to children playing in the park.

The right candidate will have experience in the whole purchase to pay process, including master data, invoice processing, supplier statement reconciliation and preparation of payment schedules.

  • Oversee and execute knowledge-based accounts payable activities.
  • Prepare account reconciliations for vendors and suppliers.
  • Handle first-level escalations promptly and professionally.
  • Attend meetings to resolve disputed invoices with key vendors and internal stakeholders.
Your Key Responsibilities
  • Manage budgets, strategic planning and oversee financial operations.
  • Review, analyze and clean up bi-monthly aging and debit balances reports.
  • Update and maintain vendor database promptly.
  • Be part of a project team to standardize AP processes across Asia Pacific.
Requirements
  • Graduate degree in accounting or related field.
  • Experience in end-to-end purchase to pay responsibility for multiple countries.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint).
