Job Description

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining blockchain networks and protocols.

You will work on improving our current infrastructure, including security, automation, and monitoring. You will also have the opportunity to dive deep into new blockchain protocols, run testnets, build secure and scalable infrastructure, and maintain it.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Building secure and reliable infrastructure to monitor, detect, and mitigate performance and security issues.
  • System administration activities for Linux servers, including routine and proactive daily management of system health, stability, and availability.
  • Creating and maintaining system procedural and technical documentation.
  • Staying up-to-date with peer-to-peer networking security best practices.
  • Creating, maintaining, and communicating threat models and risk assessments for all systems we operate.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience as a DevOps/SRE/Infrastructure Engineer.
  • The ability to program in one or more languages, such as Python, GoLang, Bash, or Javascript.
  • Experience managing server infrastructures with high availability requirements.
  • Designing secure networks, systems, and application architectures.
  • Setting up and maintaining software in both data centers and cloud environments.
  • A deep understanding of sockets, the full networking stack, and Linux security.
  • Knowledge of building automation and CI/CD processes and tools.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and other cloud deployment technologies.
  • Flexibility, teamwork, and comfort with ambiguity, able to take charge and get things done despite the unknowns.
