Job Overview

The Merchant Support Specialist role is a pivotal position that plays a crucial part in ensuring the success of our e-commerce clients. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience by providing timely and informative responses to client inquiries.

In this role, you will be expected to troubleshoot technical issues, identify root causes, and offer solutions or escalate when necessary. You will also have the opportunity to become a product expert, able to answer questions quickly and accurately. Additionally, you will be managing 20-30 open customer conversations at a time and owning follow-ups to ensure all tickets are resolved in a timely manner.

Collaboration with internal teams on escalated or complex issues will be essential, as well as contributing to internal knowledge-sharing (documentation, training, etc.). The ideal candidate will have proven experience in merchant support, customer support, or a related role, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.


Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver best-in-class customer service through prompt and accurate responses to client inquiries
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, identify root causes, and provide solutions or escalate when necessary
  • Become a subject matter expert on the testing platform and its applications
  • Manage multiple client conversations simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Own follow-up activities to ensure timely resolution of all client tickets
  • Collaborate with internal teams on complex issues and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing initiatives

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in merchant support, customer support, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Familiarity with tools such as Tableau, Looker, SQL, or BI platforms is a plus
