We're seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Associate to ensure accurate and timely processing of accounts payable transactions. This role requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and experience in accounts payable processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling AP entries, reconciling invoices and statements, and responding to inquiries from vendors and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately record accounts payable transactions in the accounting system.
  • Verify invoice details, including amounts, terms, and payment instructions, before processing entries.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures for invoice processing and payment authorization.
  • Address inquiries and concerns from customers related to invoice discrepancies, payment status, and account balances.
  • Provide prompt and courteous assistance to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular reconciliation of invoices and statements to ensure accuracy and completeness of records.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies between invoices, purchase orders, and payment records.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • At least one (1) year of experience in Accounts Payable.
  • Knowledge of Accounts Payable processes, including AP entries, reconciling invoices, and statements.
