Job Title: Financial Operations Assistant

Our team is seeking an experienced and skilled Financial Operations Assistant to join our organization. As a key member of the finance team, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely processing of transactions.

Responsibilities
  • Process and manage accounts payable and receivable with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other relevant documentation.
  • Prepare and review financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for senior management on a regular basis.
  • Process invoices, payments, and receipts in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Process payroll, ensuring accurate calculation of wages, superannuation, and entitlements.
  • Ensure compliance with tax and employment laws by maintaining accurate payroll records and reporting requirements.
  • Provide support to the HR department regarding payroll-related inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial documentation and records.
  • Assist in the preparation of BAS and other financial returns.
  • Perform data entry tasks as required.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams regarding financial matters.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of experience in financial operations, data entry, or administration.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, and any accounting software.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with minimal errors.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
