Financial Assistant Position

We are seeking a skilled Financial Assistant to manage our company's financial operations.

Job Description

The Financial Assistant will be responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable processes, including reconciliation and reporting. This role also involves preparing and filing tax returns in compliance with US, EU, AU, and UK tax laws.

The Financial Assistant will conduct audits and ensure all financial statements meet regulatory standards. Additionally, this role includes maintaining and updating accounting records and systems, ensuring accuracy and adherence to local laws.

The successful candidate will generate periodic financial reports and budgets to support strategic decision-making. They will also handle payroll processing, ensuring tax compliance and timely disbursements.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • At least 2 years of accounting experience with exposure to US, EU, AU, and/or UK tax regulations is necessary.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regional compliance laws is essential.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) is required.
  • Excellent English communication skills, including reading, writing, and speaking abilities, are necessary.
  • Advanced analytical skills and attention to detail are required.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Tech-savvy with knowledge of tools like MS Excel, cloud-based accounting platforms, and tax preparation software.
