General Ledger Accountant

We are seeking an accomplished financial professional to take ownership of core accounting functions, optimize financial processes, and drive automation initiatives.

This role will focus on journal entries, month-end reconciliations, AP processing, cash and credit card recording, and NetSuite optimization. The General Ledger Accountant will play a key role in enhancing back-office processes and automation efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • NetSuite Optimization & Automation: Lead efforts to streamline accounting workflows and automate processes within NetSuite.
  • General Ledger Management: Record and maintain journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Month-End Close: Prepare reconciliations and schedules, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Accounts Payable (AP): Oversee AP processes, ensuring timely and accurate vendor payments.
  • Cash & Credit Card Transactions: Accurately record and reconcile all cash and credit card transactions.
  • Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies and implement best practices to improve financial operations.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with 3+ years of experience in general ledger accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Extensive experience with NetSuite and a proven track record of closing books for a U.S.-based entity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with SQL for financial data analysis.
  • Proficiency in Snowflake, Ramp, and Rippling.
  • Experience leveraging AI for accounting automation.
