Global Treasury Specialist

We seek a highly skilled Global Treasury Specialist to assume key responsibilities within our team. This role involves coordinating treasury management activities, including global bank account administration and day-to-day treasury operations.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and reconcile daily cash positions to ensure accuracy and integrity of treasury transactions and statements.
  • Identify and manage exceptions in the Treasury Management System and coordinate with relevant banks and vendors to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Maintain data integrity within the Treasury Management System and assist users with payment-related troubleshooting.
  • Support the setup and maintenance of bank accounts across multiple platforms, as well as user onboarding and account administration.
  • Collaborate in managing global cash position reporting and analysis.
  • Execute treasury payments in a timely and accurate manner, including debt and interest payments, foreign exchange transactions, M&A deals, dividends, and intercompany funding.
  • Coordinate foreign exchange trade confirmations.
  • Oversee the administration of credit card programs and users.
  • Respond to treasury requests and queries through an efficient ticketing system.
  • Provide essential support for non-European time zone markets (Australia, Asia, US West Coast, and European mornings).
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including IT, Legal, Company Secretary, and Internal Auditors, to provide necessary financial information and support.
  • Assist in preparing ad-hoc treasury reports as required.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in treasury projects and system enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • Fluent written and spoken English (C1) proficiency, with additional languages being an advantage but not required.
  • A recognized bachelor's degree, and/or Treasury Qualification.
  • Minimum 2+ years' experience in treasury or finance, preferably within a large multinational organization.
  • Experience with multicurrency bank account management.
  • Knowledge of Treasury Management Systems (FIS – Integrity) is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong IT and Excel skills are necessary.
  • Experience with banking platforms Citibank and/or HSBC is preferred but not essential.
  • Understanding of Accounting Systems (NetSuite preferred but not essential).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work effectively with others at all levels.
