Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented professional to support our financial operations as a Financial Operations Specialist. This role involves managing financial records, preparing invoices, reconciling statements, and generating financial reports.

You will be responsible for managing financial transactions, processing invoices and receipts, reconciling bank statements, and preparing financial reports. Additionally, you will assist with administrative tasks such as calendar management, email handling, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Operations (50%)
    • Manage financial records, including accounts payable and receivable
    • Process invoices, receipts, and payments in accounting software like QuickBooks or Xero
    • Reconcile bank statements and prepare financial reports
    • Assist with tax preparation and compliance as needed
  • Administrative Support (50%)
    • Manage emails and correspondence
    • Organize and update files, spreadsheets, and databases
    • Assist with project management tasks using tools like Asana or Trello
    • Follow-ups via email, chat, and/or phone
Requirements
  • At least 1+ year of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
  • Minimum of 2 years of remote work experience
  • Experience using accounting software like QuickBooks or Xero
  • Proficiency with project management tools like Asana or Trello
  • Familiarity with AI tools is a plus but not required
  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
