Job Description

As a Training Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering training programs to new hires, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles. Your primary goal is to facilitate learning and development, providing guidance and support to help trainees overcome challenges.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Training Delivery and Facilitation:
  • Develop and deliver engaging training sessions that cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Provide clear instructions, demonstrations, and hands-on practice to reinforce understanding.
  • Encourage active participation, questions, and feedback from trainees.
Setting of Training Expectations:
  • Establish clear goals, objectives, and performance standards for each training session.
  • Ensure trainees understand what is expected of them and how to achieve success.
Participation in Training Design:
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to design and develop high-quality training content.
  • Contribute to the creation of training materials, including presentations, handouts, and assessments.
Training Needs Assessment:
  • Identify knowledge gaps and skill deficiencies among trainees.
  • Develop targeted training solutions to address these areas and improve overall performance.
Reports and Documentation:
  • Compile comprehensive training reports to track progress and evaluate effectiveness.
  • Maintain accurate records of training activities, including attendance, participation, and assessment results.
Meetings and Conferences:
  • Attend regular meetings with trainers, managers, and other stakeholders to discuss training initiatives and share best practices.
Information Dissemination and Escalation:
  • Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to colleagues and trainees on specific areas of training.
  • Escalate complex issues or concerns to senior management for resolution.
