Facilities Operations Professional

  • The primary responsibility of the Facilities Operations Professional is to oversee the day-to-day monitoring, maintenance, and upkeep of facilities' systems.
  • They will be responsible for coordinating with building administrators and vendors to ensure smooth operations.
  • The role involves managing databases related to office supplies, headsets, lockers, and ID issuance.
  • They are required to issue company assets to employees and provide regular reporting on OPEX and CAPEX.
  • The Facilities Operations Professional will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, implementing preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • They must monitor security, housekeeping, and third-party service providers.
  • The role requires coordination of space planning and office fit out according to evolving business needs.
  • They will perform first response on issues raised and handyman works.
  • The Facilities Operations Professional will regularly inspect building/sites housekeeping and check for obsolescence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in purchasing, inventory management, and asset allocation.
  • Coordinate with vendors and building administrators to ensure smooth operations.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering (preferably licensed Engineer).
  • At least 2-3 years background in Facilities Management, with 1 year from BPO industry experience and 6 months to 1 year in purchasing.
  • Ability to work in a shifting schedule, long hours if necessary.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with ability to coordinate with different levels in the organization and vendors.
