Job Title: Insurance Product Strategist

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Product Strategist to join our team. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for creating a product roadmap and defining strategic vision for your team.

The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of user needs, technology, and business operations. They should be able to set clear and ambitious product vision and communicate it effectively to stakeholders, teams, and the organization.

  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the insurance industry and its trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure digital vision and products align with team strategy and requirements.
  • Work with stakeholders to establish each product's business value and support messaging, communication, and client outreach as necessary.
  • Prioritize and manage items in the backlog, maintaining a 3-4 sprint lead ahead of the team.
  • Translate user needs into user stories and acceptance criteria using market and industry knowledge.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven knowledge of the insurance space, ideally 5+ years in the industry with experience designing insurance products and channels.
  • Extensive knowledge in stakeholder management.
  • Knowledge of technology or ability to learn about technology and digital products; experience with technical products is a plus.
  • Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams from technology, design, business, and operations.
