Job Description

The Insurance Head plays a pivotal role in driving the company's insurance strategy, providing expert advice and support to various business units. As the company's insurance expert, they oversee the development, implementation, and governance of group insurance programs.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Insurance Strategy Development and Implementation: Define and propose an effective group insurance strategy, encompassing insurance coverage, broker appointments, claim administrators, and other supporting services.
  • Maintenance of Insurance Programs: Ensure the group's insurance programs are up-to-date and provide necessary guidance to business units from a technical and professional perspective.
  • Awareness and Alignment: Foster awareness among divisions within the Group regarding insurance coverage and premiums charged.
  • Governance, Governance Metrics, and Feedback: Maintain and improve mechanisms for insurance provision, including surveying and measuring governance, performance, administration, and outcomes, with dissemination of feedback to relevant entities.
