Job Description

This role involves overseeing the entire order-to-cash process, ensuring smooth, efficient and compliant operations to enhance cash flow, reduce risks and maintain excellent customer satisfaction.

The OTC Operations Manager will be responsible for managing credit assessments, approvals and limit reviews for customers. They will also supervise collection activities to minimize overdue balances and bad debt risk. Additionally, they will analyze trends in disputes and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence.

Effective communication and negotiation skills are crucial in this role, as the candidate will need to work with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to resolve issues effectively.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of OTC processes, ERP systems and automation tools. They should also have excellent analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills, as well as leadership and interpersonal skills to manage a team.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree (MBA preferred)
  • 7+ years in OTC or similar roles, with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity
  • Strong understanding of OTC processes, ERP systems and automation tools
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in financial reporting and data analysis; knowledge of regulatory requirements in credit, collections and invoicing
