Technical Leadership Opportunity

Nearform seeks a skilled Technical Lead to join its team of experts in building intelligent digital solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and guiding development teams, working directly with clients to translate complex business and technical requirements into impactful applications.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical and line-management leadership to the development team.
  • Ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
  • Identifying and resolving blockers before they become issues.
  • Maintaining best practices in software development, DevOps, and agile methodologies within the team.
  • Translating client requirements into technical briefs.
  • Shaping architectural decisions to ensure scalability, security, and maintainability.
  • Communicating project status and progress to stakeholders.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in software engineering as either a Senior Engineer or Technical Lead. They should have expertise in Node.js and React, as well as experience working directly with clients or customers to understand technical requirements.

Additional qualifications include:

  • Leading software engineering teams through technical delivery.
  • Experience with agile ways of working, best practices, and design patterns.
  • Deep understanding of test-driven development and testing best practices.
  • Proficiency in version control tools (Git).
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and operational concerns (monitoring, performance testing, security considerations, accessibility, GDPR).
  • Strong empathy and people skills.
Interview Process

The interview process includes a Talent Call (30 minutes via Zoom), a Technical Lead Assessment (90 minutes, Zoom), and a Hiring Manager Interview (45 minutes via Zoom). Candidates may also participate in an additional interview with the client depending on the project.
