Job Overview

The Vendor Risk Management position involves collaborating with clients to identify and address client supply chain risk and cybersecurity challenges. This includes advising on best practices in vendor risk management and ensuring the successful delivery of solutions to solve customer problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in third-party risk management consulting engagements focused on supply chain defense.
  • Support workshops at clients focused on topics such as vendor identification, onboarding, monitoring, and remediation, as well as cybersecurity risk questionnaires.
  • Deliver projects and programs, including project and process management, reporting, and engagement in senior leadership meetings.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to client stakeholders, highlighting best practices, tools, and technology.
  • Mature standard operating procedures for customers to optimize utilization of BlueVoyant offerings.
  • Enable business development in renewal, cross-sell, and up-sell opportunities while maintaining client trust.
  • Create repeatable processes and frameworks portable across clients and industries to accelerate future implementations.
  • Travel to clients as requested.
Requirements
  • Hold a CISSP certification or similar.
  • Have familiarity with encryption fundamentals and network design.
  • Possess 2+ years of experience in third-party risk management consulting, including vendor cybersecurity risk, at a Big 4 consulting firm or vendor risk management company.
  • Have 3+ years of experience leading an enterprise risk management program, including third-party risk, internal risk maturity, assessment, risk consolidation, and risk reporting.
  • Hold information security/cybersecurity accreditation and background.
  • Have experience working in a cybersecurity or technology organization.
  • Demonstrate an entrepreneurial nature and drive for results.
  • Exhibit clear communication and writing skills.
  • Be able to conduct deep client discovery to uncover root cause problems and build trusted relationships.
  • Be able to design programs and solutions with minimal guidance and oversight.
