Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Senior Risk Officer. This role involves managing risk by monitoring risks, preparing reports for committees, and ensuring policy compliance.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and be able to develop risk management policies and frameworks. They will also be responsible for training and developing staff, and regularly assessing compliance with regulations.

The Role Entails:
  • Collaborate with the Chief Risk Officer to identify, measure, and manage the Bank's risk within its defined risk appetite and risk-reward policy.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive Risk Management Framework, including policies, procedures, and monitoring systems.
  • Foster a robust risk culture across the organization to enhance awareness and accountability.
  • Identify and analyze key risks and their underlying drivers across the Bank's operations.
  • Continuously monitor risk exposures against established tolerances and report findings to relevant stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or any related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of banking experience with a proven track record in senior leadership roles and enterprise-wide oversight.
  • Skilled in engaging with executive stakeholders, including board-level presentations and strategic discussions.
  • Demonstrated ability to build organizational capability through talent development, coaching, and mentoring initiatives.
