
Business Development and Sales Leader

This is a mid-senior level Business Development and Sales role for a software development company.
Key Responsibilities:- Strategic Vendor Management: Build and maintain relationships with key vendors to drive service growth, procurement efficiency, and training enablement.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Own the full product lifecycle for managed services across SD-WAN, SASE, networking, UCaaS, cloud, IoT, and hardware.
- Service Design and Integration: Collaborate with engineering, solution architects, and support teams to design and integrate scalable, vendor-aligned services.
- Financial Planning: Partner with Finance on pricing models, budgeting, and cost optimization to ensure services remain competitive and profitable.
- Customer Focus: Champion a customer-centric approach by analyzing feedback, improving reliability and security standards, and serving as an escalation point for critical vendor-related issues.
- Risk Management: Oversee risk management and compliance, mitigating technology, supply chain, and regulatory risks while ensuring adherence to audit standards.
- Vendor Relationship Experience: Strong experience managing vendor relationships (e.g., Fortinet, AWS).
- Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to negotiate contracts, SLAs, and pricing to drive business value.
- Product Lifecycle Knowledge: Background in product lifecycle management, especially across networking, cloud, UCaaS, and IoT solutions.
- Technical Skills: Skills in service design, operational integration, and creating scalable frameworks.
- Financial Acumen: Financial acumen in pricing models, budgeting, and cost optimization.
- Customer-Facing: Customer-first mindset with experience improving service quality and handling escalations.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Knowledge of compliance, risk management, and vendor security assessments.
- Collaboration: Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Support.
- Reporting: Experience tracking KPIs, producing reports, and leading vendor QBRs.
- Communication: Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
