About the Role

The ideal candidate for this leadership position will oversee the operational aspects of a restaurant, ensuring seamless execution and growth. This includes managing staff, maintaining facilities, overseeing finances, and driving sales through effective control of resources.

This role requires exceptional leadership and organizational skills, as well as the ability to adapt to changing business needs. The successful candidate will be proactive, innovative, and capable of making informed decisions that benefit the organization.

  • Manage and direct the work of front-of-house managers and designated departments.
  • Train, coach, counsel, develop, and discipline staff; conduct regular meetings and ensure proper education.
  • Ensure guest service meets company standards.
  • Oversee safety, security, and cleanliness of front- and back-of-house areas and equipment.
Responsibilities
  1. Develop and present an annual business plan in collaboration with the executive chef.
  2. Ensure monthly compliance to budget regarding labor, food, and other costs based on the finalized business plan.
  3. Exercise discretion and independent judgment in implementing management policies and resolving significant operational matters.
  4. Address guest complaints and satisfaction issues promptly and professionally.
Skill Requirements
  • Strong verbal communication and listening skills required.
  • Excellent guest service skills with ability to understand guest needs and ask questions to expedite the handling of requests.
  • Individual must possess excellent leadership and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Work Environment

The restaurant is generally open 7 days a week, 365 days per year. The manager will typically work as much as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The role involves repetitive hand and wrist motion, and the ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
