Job Summary:

We are seeking a Sourcing Professional to fill a key role in our organization.

  • Identify and qualify capable suppliers for sourcing parts and product(s)
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure exceptional lead-time, cost, and quality delivery
  • Negotiate contracts to serve the company's purpose and reduce contract liability
  • Optimize costs and maintain strong relationships with suppliers

Responsibilities:

  1. Selects suppliers through our procurement process and ensures timely delivery of high-quality materials
  2. Leverages material sourcing and qualification schedule to provide regular status updates to stakeholders

Negotiation and Contract Management:

  1. Dives into contract/quotation negotiations with local suppliers to meet target prices
  2. Reviews and drafts contract terms and conditions
  3. Ensures proper contract execution and management

Spend Analysis and Cost Optimization:

  • Analyzes quotation summaries for informed decision-making and initiates meetings for alignment
  • Identifies areas for cost reduction and improvement opportunities
  • Validates and benchmarks cost increases from suppliers and seeks approval
  • Drives cost savings initiatives to generate value for the organization
  • Streamlines product sourcing from raw materials to finished goods

Supplier Relationship and Performance Management:

  • Maintains strong relationships with suppliers and ensures ongoing communication
  • Conducts business reviews to highlight performance and drive improvements
  • Leads SCOC ratings and highlights supply chain risks
