Job Description

This role involves leading sourcing strategies for raw materials and specialty chemicals used in cosmetics, personal care, and fragrances across the Asia Pacific region.

Your key responsibilities include identifying and executing savings opportunities, optimizing sourcing processes, and managing supplier performance.

You will develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure they meet service, quality, innovation, and sustainability standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cost-saving initiatives, mitigate supply risks, and manage supplier compliance with contracts and service level agreements.

  • Strategic Sourcing: Conduct supplier base selections, negotiate contracts, and ensure alignment with global, regional, and local strategies.
  • Supplier Relations Management: Manage supplier compliance, track performance, and lead development activities to improve service and cost efficiency.
  • Sourcing Operations Management: Define purchase prices, update supplier information, and collaborate on projects to optimize costs and lead times.
Required Skills and Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Material Management, or Supply Chain Management is required. You should have at least 7 years of progressive experience in procurement and sourcing within a manufacturing environment.

Proven experience in delivering cost savings and strong skills in negotiations, vendor management, and project management are essential.

Candidates should also have excellent data analytics, presentation, and people skills, as well as adaptability to changes and technological proficiency.
