Job Overview

The ideal candidate for this role will be a highly skilled and strategic Financial Operations Manager who can support the executive leadership team in providing regular financial updates, forecasts, and insights to drive business growth and inform strategic decision-making.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the executive leadership team in providing regular financial updates, forecasts, and insights to drive business growth and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee consolidated financial reporting across multiple entities, ensuring accurate and timely data collection and analysis.
  • Manage cash flows, annual budgeting processes, and drive financial accountability across all departments.
  • Ensure the accuracy of all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems, adhering to regulatory and GAAP compliance requirements.
  • Lead multi-entity payroll processing, working closely with HR and other teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Support Billing, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable functions, and work with the team to optimize processes for scalability and efficiency.
  • Oversee tax-related responsibilities, including income tax filings, multi-state tax compliance, and other required submissions.
  • Assist executive leadership in M&A activities, including financial due diligence, integration planning, and financial analysis for potential acquisitions.
  • Provide insights and support for financial modeling and projections related to acquisition opportunities.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive team-level and business-wide performance.
  • Analyze KPI trends and make data-driven recommendations to support continuous improvement in financial operations and strategic outcomes.
  • Identify, develop, and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory requirements across all entities.
  • Develop process documentation for key components of finance and accounting functions.
  • Contribute to long-term financial planning and strategy formulation as part of the executive team.
  • Provide strategic recommendations for growth, acquisitions, and other business opportunities using financial analysis and modeling.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of multi-entity payroll, tax filings, and compliance requirements, including experience with income tax.
  • Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and consolidation for multi-entity organizations.
  • Familiarity with M&A processes and experience supporting due diligence and financial integration activities is a plus.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and grow high-performing teams.
  • Experience working with professional services vendors (insurance, banking, tax advisors, etc.).
