Job Summary

The Accounting Officer plays a vital role in financial management functions, including cost accounting to support risk assessment and strategic decision-making.

This position involves conducting analyses to forecast, budget, and assess performance plans, presenting findings to senior leaders to inform operational decisions.

Additional responsibilities include assisting the Finance Manager with delegated tasks such as preparing financial reports, providing budget updates, and reviewing internal controls to maintain departmental stability when the Finance Manager is unavailable.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead planning and directing activities of the finance and accounting department.
  • Oversee preparation of financial performance reports for Execom and Department Heads.
  • Supervise day-to-day revenue management operations, including client costing, transaction processing, and other key tasks.
  • Provide insights to support long-term and short-term business strategy.
  • Prepare financial data and generate weekly, monthly, and annual reports.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to meet deadlines.
  • Analyze discrepancies in financial reports and implement resolutions.
  • Support Department Heads and DBMs in budget preparation and expense management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Admin and Finance teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 1-2 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, detail-oriented, with good analytical skills.

  • CPA certification.
