Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our growing finance team. This role plays a key role in ensuring timely and accurate billing, collections, and AR reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and distribute customer invoices based on sales orders, including volume-based billing metrics.
- Generate and issue credit notes in accordance with company policies.
- Record and reconcile incoming customer payments on a timely basis.
- Review customer agreements and ensure billing schedules align with contract terms.
- Support revenue recognition reviews and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Regularly analyze AR aging reports to proactively address collection risks.
- Collaborate with Account Management teams to resolve client billing or payment issues.
- Prepare reports related to AR, collections, and invoicing for both finance and senior leadership.
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a SaaS, fintech, or tech company.
- Advanced experience in Netsuite and MS Excel.
- Experience in managing multi-currency, multi-entity, and consolidated financial reporting.
- Strong knowledge of revenue recognition and billing best practices.
- Familiarity with internal controls frameworks (e.g., COSO) and financial compliance standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work across teams and geographies.
