Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing, verifying and posting receipts for goods sold or services rendered.
You will also be responsible for following up on collections, communicating with clients to request payment and arrange payment plans, and maintaining accurate records regarding payments and account statuses.
Additionally, you will perform account reconciliations, research and resolve account discrepancies, and work extensively with the collections department to review accounts and develop new repayment terms.
As a Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will have excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Processing, verifying and posting receipts for goods sold or services rendered;
- Following up on collections and communicating with clients to request payment and arrange payment plans;
- Maintaining accurate records regarding payments and account statuses;
- Performing account reconciliations and researching and resolving account discrepancies;
- Working extensively with the collections department to review accounts and develop new repayment terms;
- Creatings reports and balance sheets that document overall profits and losses;
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field;
- 2-5 years of Accounts Receivable/Payable and/or General Accounting experience;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, specifically Word and Outlook;
- Strong Netsuite experience in functions for AR and AP process;
- Strong working knowledge using Excel, pivot tables and advanced formulas etc.
