Our organization is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable and Collection Specialist with expertise in QuickBooks to oversee our financial operations. This role involves managing accounts receivable, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Utilize QuickBooks to manage accounts receivable and track payment records effectively.
  2. Handle incoming payments, reconcile and apply them accurately within the system.
  3. Contact clients to follow up on overdue invoices and resolve any payment disputes efficiently.
  4. Prepare and issue invoices, credit memos, and account statements in a timely manner.
  5. Analyze reports related to accounts receivable and collection efforts to identify areas for improvement.
  6. Assist in enhancing collection processes and implementing effective techniques.
  7. Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
  8. Maintain and organize documentation related to accounts receivable activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. At least 2 years of experience in accounts receivable and collections.
  2. Expertise in QuickBooks is required for efficient performance.
  3. Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations is necessary for accuracy.
  4. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential for success.
  5. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required for effective collaboration.
  6. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently is crucial.
  7. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, is necessary for data analysis.
