Financial Analyst Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team. This individual will be responsible for analyzing financial data, developing accounting procedures, and ensuring compliance with practices, policies, and regulations.

This self-motivated professional will drive the team's success and possess a strong desire to learn while maintaining transparency and prioritizing customer satisfaction.

  • Provide management with financial information by researching and analyzing accounts, preparing financial statements
  • Prepare consolidated internal and external financial statements by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger system and departments
  • Maintain and balance an automated consolidation system by inputting data, scheduling jobs, and verifying data
  • Analyze information and options by developing spreadsheet reports and verifying information
  • Prepare general ledger entries by maintaining records and files, reconciling accounts
  • Prepare payments by accruing expenses, assigning account numbers, requesting disbursements, and reconciling accounts
  • Develop and implement accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures and recommending changes
  • Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data
  • Provide accounting support for mergers and acquisitions by reviewing financial information, converting data to a general ledger system, obtaining supplementary information
  • Protect the organization's value by keeping information confidential
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, participating in organizations

A Bachelor's degree in the related field and at least 2 years of experience in accounting or a similar position are required. Experience in real estate management, particularly multifamily, is preferred, along with proficiency in Yardi Voyager and Microsoft 365 applications.
