Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the full accounts payable cycle, ensuring accurate invoice processing and timely payment runs.
  • Supervise 3-way matching, supplier bank account verification, and reconciliation of supplier statements.
  • Manage accounts payable aging reports, resolve payment inquiries, and address discrepancies.
Accounts Receivable (AR) Management
  • Lead timely billing, collections, and cash application processes.
  • Monitor AR aging reports and oversee collection efforts.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and manage the AR sub-ledger.
  • Coordinate Coles shortfall calculation and assist with business intelligence sales reports.
Team Leadership and Development
  • Guide and mentor finance professionals in AP & AR teams.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to align goals and performance expectations.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and open communication within the team.
  • Promote best practices and encourage collaboration among team members.
Finance Operations and Reporting Excellence
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure top-tier financial performance.
  • Support general ledger reconciliations and occasional ad-hoc finance tasks.
  • Document and optimize finance workflows and internal controls for efficiency and effectiveness.
Effective Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders to resolve concerns and issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive reporting and strategic initiatives.
