The Role of a Paraplanner
As a Paraplanner, you will play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of comprehensive financial plans for clients. This involves collaborating closely with advisors to prepare and analyze financial needs analysis reports.
Responsibilities:
- Assist advisors in creating detailed financial plans tailored to individual client needs
- Conduct thorough research on insurance products, superannuation strategies, and tax optimization techniques
- Prepare and review financial needs analysis reports to ensure accuracy and relevance
- Collaborate with advisors to identify suitable investment strategies based on client goals and risk tolerance
- Attend client meetings with advisors to present and discuss financial plans
- Work closely with clients to gather necessary financial information and documents
- Develop expertise in interpreting legal documents related to insurance products
- Manage and update client information within our database
Requirements and Qualifications
- 3 years of experience as a Paraplanner or similar role in the insurance industry is preferred
- Background in accounting or finance is highly beneficial
- Exceptional numerical reasoning skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with legal documents related to insurance products
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A desire to become an expert in both insurance products and financial advice preparation
