Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Planning Specialist to support our clients by managing the back-end financial operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless financial modeling, analysis, and reporting while leveraging advanced tools to improve efficiency and automation.

This position requires a strong accounting foundation with at least 5 years of experience in FP&A or a similar role. The ideal candidate will have advanced proficiency in financial modeling, expertise in Excel, Power Query, and tools like ChatGPT for automation and analysis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining advanced financial models, developing and enhancing KPI dashboards, automating manual processes, conducting detailed financial analysis and reporting, providing support with FP&A functions, collaborating with the team to streamline financial workflows, and identifying opportunities for automation.

In addition, the Senior Financial Planning Specialist will communicate findings and recommendations effectively to internal and external stakeholders, ensure all deliverables meet the highest standards of accuracy and timeliness, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CFA certification is a plus.
  • Experience:
    • Strong accounting foundation with at least 5 years of experience in FP&A or a similar role.
    • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling.
    • Expertise in Excel, Power Query, and tools like ChatGPT for automation and analysis.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Proficient communicator with the ability to convey complex financial concepts clearly.
