Financial Operations Specialist

Seeking a highly skilled professional to take ownership of core accounting functions, optimize financial processes, and support automation initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with financial software, successfully managed general ledger operations for a U.S.-based entity, and possess strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Process Optimization: Streamline accounting workflows and automate processes within financial systems.
  • General Ledger Management: Record and maintain journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare reconciliations and schedules, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Accounts Payable (AP) Management: Oversee AP processes, ensuring timely and accurate vendor payments.
  • Cash and Credit Card Transactions: Accurately record and reconcile all cash and credit card transactions.
  • Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies and implement best practices to improve financial operations.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with internal stakeholders to support financial decision-making.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in general ledger accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Extensive experience with financial software and a proven track record of managing general ledger operations for a U.S.-based entity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and drive process improvements.
