Procurement Professional

This role requires a highly skilled Procurement professional to work closely with various stakeholders. Your key responsibilities will include executing e-sourcing events, managing contracts, and ensuring supplier compliance. You will also be responsible for analyzing data and providing insights to inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Business Operations to ensure the completeness of Scope of Work/Bill of Quantities for RFx activities.
• Develop and implement standardized systems and controls for procurement, including RFx documentation, work authorization, purchase and change order systems, and supplier/contractor eligibility criteria.
• Organize and implement national/regional e-sourcing activities for various clients.
• Develop and implement national/regional contracting and procurement strategies to increase operational efficiency and profitability.
• Build and manage relationships with regional suppliers and contractors, leading in contract negotiations.
• Manage the supplier vetting certification process, including review of requisite experience, legal and organizational structure, financial viability, geographic coverage, insurance requirements, and other capabilities.
• Collaborate with Procurement Operations to ensure that all suppliers are onboarded for client accounts.
• Develop and manage supplier performance programs.
• Establish strong working relationships with key internal and external partners and implement process improvement within the organization.
• Manage and coordinate regional sourcing processes and practices with internal stakeholders.
• Develop continuous improvement or operational excellence programs for the organization.
• Establish requirements for and ensure the integrity of centralized procurement database systems. Serve as key point of contact.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers through letters, calls, and webinars.
• Conduct webinars to guide suppliers and internal stakeholders on procurement systems and processes.
• Perform other procurement activities as required by the APAC Procurement team.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Industrial Engineering equivalent to a 4-year college program in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum 1-2 years' experience in Procurement/Purchasing/Supply Chain Management.

Skills Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues.
• Fluent in English. Able to read, speak, and write to external and internal stakeholders.

Financial Acumen

• Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents.
• Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Advanced analytical and quantitative skills preferred.

Tools of the Trade

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite Products especially in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint. Experience in PowerBI is preferred.
• Experience in working with and managing e-procurement and contracts management platforms. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge in Project Management is preferred.
