Seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Officer with experience in sourcing, vendor management, and purchasing processes.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Sourcing and evaluating suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery.
  • Preparing and processing purchase orders and documents in accordance with company policies.
  • Maintaining accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory.
  • Monitoring supplier performance and resolving any issues or discrepancies.
  • Collaborating with internal departments to understand procurement needs and timelines.
  • Negotiating contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procurement regulations.
  • Assisting in cost-saving initiatives and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in procurement or purchasing.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented approach with excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software/tools.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with Xero and Third Party System (ApprovalMax, etc.).
  • Experience in procurement within industries such as Environmental Services, Cleaning supplies & Equipment.
  • Hands-on experience in implementing and executing procurement policies.
