Job Summary

The Finance Associate position involves supporting the company’s financial operations by processing transactions, maintaining accurate records and assisting in report preparation. This role ensures compliance with policies and regulations while contributing to finance department efficiency.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Processing accounts payable and receivable accurately and on time.
  • Preparing, verifying and reconciling invoices, receipts and other financial documents.
  • Assisting in preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
  • Maintaining and updating financial records in the accounting system.
  • Supporting payroll preparation and related documentation.
  • Monitoring and recording company expenses to ensure adherence to financial plans.
  • Assisting with tax preparation, filing and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Coordinating with internal departments and external partners regarding financial matters.
  • Supporting audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience (fresh graduates may be considered).
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP or Xero.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
