Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow IT Applications Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the operations and maintenance of our ServiceNow instance, including customization, configuration, and ongoing platform support.

This is a key position in our organization, requiring strong technical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. The successful candidate will have experience in implementation/customization and administration of ServiceNow ITSM and ITOM, as well as a solid understanding of IT infrastructure, ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, asset management processes, and e-bonding solutions.

The ServiceNow IT Applications Specialist will proactively manage the health and performance of the ServiceNow platform through preventive maintenance, timely troubleshooting, performance monitoring, and proactive identification of potential issues.

In addition to technical expertise, the successful candidate will possess strong stakeholder management skills, experience working with diverse stakeholders, and excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

">Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or a related discipline
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in implementation/customization and administration of ServiceNow ITSM and ITOM
  • Strong experience in application development and support in a Global Shared Services setup
  • Extensive experience in ServiceNow ITSM and ITOM
  • Platform configuration and customization, including scripting and workflow automation, to meet business requirements and deliver solutions that adhere to best practices
  • Proficient in analyzing requirements, designing and building service request fulfilment workflows, and developing comprehensive documentation
  • Experience in ServiceNow integrations with external systems using Orchestration, Web Services, SOAP calls, etc., to sync, manipulate and maintain data
  • Strong troubleshooting, monitoring, and incident resolution skills
  • Experience in ServiceNow OOTB reporting and dashboard creation
  • Maintaining security requirements within ServiceNow instances (e.g., security patches, upgrades, cloning)
  • Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, asset management processes, and e-bonding solutions
  • Ability to create automated test frameworks and provide estimates
  • High-quality functional/technical documentation and requirements gathering skills
  • Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working with diverse stakeholders
  • Experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies
