Financial Operations Specialist

Job Description

This role involves overseeing key financial functions, including accounts payable, banking, and cash reconciliation. You will work closely with venue teams to ensure accurate processing of invoices, maintain consistent workflows, and reduce end-of-month bottlenecks.

You will perform daily bank reconciliations using Microsoft Business Central, ensuring accuracy and completeness of transactions while maintaining strict compliance with internal controls and reconciliation standards.

Additionally, you will monitor and validate daily cash schedules from venues, ensure EON reports are completed accurately, and engage with venue leaders to resolve discrepancies and improve compliance.

You will also support various finance-related tasks as needed, including data entry, reporting, and assisting with client-specific requests.

Your proactive approach to identifying and solving issues, combined with your strong communication skills, will enable you to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, preferably with a CPA qualification.

You should have solid understanding of accounting principles, including double-entry bookkeeping and reconciliations, and experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Business Central and Xero.

A strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this position.
