Job Overview

The Cyber Security Analyst will be pivotal in assessing security risks, developing and implementing effective security measures, and maintaining a vigilant stance against potential breaches to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Threat Analysis and Monitoring: Identify and analyze potential security threats by monitoring system logs, network traffic, and security tools; stay updated on emerging cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Incident Response: Respond swiftly to security incidents, investigate breaches, and provide timely resolutions. Develop incident-response plans and collaborate with cross-functional teams to mitigate and recover from reported security breaches.
  • Conduct assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in systems and applications; develop strategies for remediating vulnerabilities and minimizing potential risks.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in IT and computer science; 1 year minimum experience preferred.
  • Fundamental log analysis and troubleshooting skills; strong understanding of networking protocols and operating systems.
  • Excellent communication skills — able to convey complex security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Technical certifications advantageous: CCNA, CISSP, CISM, CEH, MCP, MCTS, LINUX+, CompTIA Security+.
  • High-speed internet connection required (at least 50 Mbps).
