Business Support Engineer Role

About the Job

This position is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of business systems, delivering effective problem resolution and driving process improvements. The Business Support Engineer will work closely with IT, Business Analysis, and Software Development teams to identify system performance issues and implement optimised solutions.

The successful candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills and be proficient in C#, .Net, ASP.Net, SQL and business intelligence/data analytics tools. A tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science or related field is required, along with hands-on experience with database analysis, troubleshooting and system migrations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse system performance and user feedback to recommend optimised solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and scalable solutions.
  • Monitor and maintain database performance, ensuring data integrity and availability.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 2-3 years experience providing Level 2 & 3 technical support in a business-critical environment.
  • Proficient in C#, .Net, ASP.Net, SQL and business intelligence/data analytics tools.
  • Hands-on experience with database analysis, troubleshooting and system migrations.
