Job Summary:

As a Building Integration Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring clients and partners receive exceptional support and service. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

">Key Responsibilities:">
  • Deliver and support fault detection and diagnostics products to clients and partners.
  • Collaborate on onboarding projects, communicate timelines and milestones to ensure analytics fulfills its role in a timely manner at a high level of quality.
  • Conduct onboarding activities such as installing Data Collection Services, discovery of data, and organizing for Digital Building Engineers.
  • Help troubleshoot Diagnostics to perform automated fault detection on customer's HVAC equipment.
  • Review and validate results reported by the software.
  • Provide ongoing support of connected sites.
">Qualifications:">
  • Confident, self-motivated individual who quickly grasps new technologies.
  • Effective communicator with customers and partners.
  • Mechanical Engineering or related technical degree or 5–6 years related industry experience.
  • 1–2 years hands-on experience in HVAC, controls, or fault detection and diagnostics.
  • Exposure to BAS protocols such as BACnet, Haystack, oBIX, and Modbus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ideal candidate has exposure to automated ongoing commissioning, fault detection and diagnostics, performance measurement and verification.
  • Ideal candidate has exposure to metadata applications such as use of tags and standards, e.g., Project Haystack.

  • Bachelor's in mechanical engineering (or a related technical degree) with an interest in building systems or significant field experience in a controls or services company serving the buildings industry.
  • Certificate or equivalent experience in basic networking or computer fundamentals.
  • Learns technical and engineering solutions quickly and thoroughly.
  • Effectively communicates technical information to customers.
  • Manages multiple projects across countries efficiently.
  • Thoroughly analytical with excellent attention to detail.
  • Creates process efficiencies for complex technical tasks.
  • Conceives and communicates product development ideas effectively.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment where processes are constantly refined.
  • Motivated about changing the built environment with innovative tools and technologies.
  • Prefers a collaborative, passionate work environment with opportunities for growth.
