Job Title: Building Maintenance Specialist 

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Building Maintenance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring the overall integrity of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems to identify potential problems and implement preventative measures.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs, replacements, and adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot complex equipment issues and develop solutions to resolve them efficiently.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve facility management goals and objectives.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including completion times and materials used.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and life safety systems.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as engineering or facilities management.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in building maintenance, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
  • Highly developed problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work at heights, if necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in a related trade, such as HVAC, electrical, or plumbing.
  • Experience with building management software and systems.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and industry standards.
