Accounting Professional Wanted

Job Description:

We are seeking an accounting professional to work remotely with top U.S. or European companies. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work in accounting and have the flexibility of working from home.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field and at least 2 years of experience in accounting. They should have strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Experience with accounting software and ERP systems is also preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and journal entries.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
  • Conduct account reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes, providing accurate financial data and analysis.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Maintain and update accounting policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and support business operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably with experience in a large accounting firm.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite, Intacct, etc.) preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
