Supply Chain Manager Role

The successful candidate will oversee the entire supply chain operation, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of products to customers. This position requires a strategic mindset, analytical skills, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop Supply Chain Strategies
    • Create and implement strategies to optimize the supply chain process, from sourcing materials to final delivery.
    • Manage outbound logistics to ensure timely delivery and avoid fines.
    • Evaluate and improve supply chain processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and mitigate risks.
    • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to forecast demand, plan inventory levels, and align procurement strategies.
  • Logistics & Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimizing holding costs.
    • Create regular purchase orders using inventory planning software and in-house systems.
    • Coordinate with shipping partners to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products to customers.
    • Implement OKRs to monitor supply chain health, identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Vendor & Partner Relations
    • Negotiate strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
    • Work closely with logistics partners to resolve issues, optimize transit times, and enhance service levels.
    • Travel to trade shows and suppliers as needed to source new suppliers.
  • Compliance & Risk Management
    • Ensure all supply chain activities comply with relevant regulations and international standards.
    • Identify potential supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to address disruptions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Liaise with management, operations, finance, and cross-functional teams to align supply chain initiatives with overall business strategy.
    • Accept additional tasks and responsibilities to meet business objectives.
  • Process Improvement
    • Utilize supply chain and inventory management systems for efficient data analysis and reporting.
    • Identify and document process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in supply chain operations.
    • Stay educated on industry trends to share and discuss.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain and logistics management, preferably within e-commerce or retail.
  • Proven track record of managing warehouse operations, including in-house and/or third-party logistics.
  • Proven experience building long-term supplier and vendor relationship stacks.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets and data analysis tools.
  • Experience with e-commerce platform; Shopify is preferred.
  • Prior exposure to remote work and experienced in coordinating with cross-cultural teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
