This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and organized individual who can efficiently coordinate and schedule inbound shipments, track shipments from suppliers and manufacturers, and support the selection of transportation methods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shipment Coordination & Scheduling:

    ">
    • Assist with coordination and scheduling of inbound shipments.
    • Help track shipments from suppliers and manufacturers.
    • Support the selection of transportation methods based on guidance from team members.

  • Documentation Support:

    ">
    • Prepare and organize basic import documentation (e.g., invoices, packing lists).
    • Learnto ensure documents are accurate and complete.
    • Assist with document filing and sharing with relevant teams or partners.

  • Compliance Assistance:

    ">
    • Support team in learning and following customs and import regulations.
    • Assist with gathering of documents for customs brokers and internal use.
    • Learnto understand the customs clearance process and help resolve minor issues under supervision.

  • Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Support:

    ">
    • Document processes and update internal SOPs as directed.
    • Participate in improving team workflows through feedback and collaboration.
    • Communicate with suppliers via email or phone to confirm shipment details.
    • Report shipment status and updates to internal teams.
    • Help resolve fundamental shipment discrepancies with guidance.

  • Cost Awareness & Optimization Support:

    • Assist in gathering quotes and rate comparisons for shipments.
    • Support tracking and logging of shipping-related expenses.
    • Report delays or issues to senior staff.
    • Assist in documenting and tracking shipping challenges.
    • Learnto support contingency planning and problem resolution.
