We're seeking a seasoned IT leader with expertise in startups, system implementation, network management, product launch, and operations. As Director of Technical Operations, you'll oversee the development of IT infrastructure, manage cross-functional teams, and engage stakeholders to drive successful technology initiatives that align with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning and IT Infrastructure Development
    • Design and implement scalable IT infrastructure that meets organizational needs during growth and operational phases.
    • Align IT strategy with business objectives to support startup, expansion, and ongoing operations.
  • System Implementation and Integration
    • Lead the evaluation, deployment, and integration of software and hardware solutions to enhance business processes.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify system requirements and ensure seamless integration with existing workflows.
  • Network Design and Management
    • Develop, deploy, and maintain secure and efficient network systems.
    • Monitor network performance, resolve issues proactively, and implement upgrades to improve efficiency and reliability.
  • Product Launch and Support
    • Oversee IT readiness for product launches, ensuring all technical components are fully operational and integrated.
    • Provide on-demand support during critical launch phases to resolve issues promptly.
  • Team Management
    • Build and manage a high-performing IT team, fostering collaboration, engagement, and professional development.
    • Assign roles and responsibilities, set performance goals, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
    • Ensure the team is equipped with the skills and tools required for success.
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Act as a liaison between IT and key stakeholders, ensuring alignment on goals, priorities, and deliverables.
    • Communicate IT strategies, plans, and progress effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Manage stakeholder expectations and incorporate their feedback into project plans.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Ensure high availability, reliability, and security of IT systems and services.
    • Establish IT policies, procedures, and best practices to minimize downtime and enhance efficiency.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and risk assessments for IT operations.
  • Risk Management and Security
    • Develop and enforce cybersecurity protocols to protect company data and systems.
    • Create and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to mitigate risks.

Qualifications and Skills

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of IT management experience, with proven expertise in startups, system implementation, and operational oversight.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing IT teams and stakeholder relationships.
  • Successful track record of network management, launching IT systems, and scaling operations.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in network infrastructure, cloud solutions, and IT security protocols.
  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies is a plus.
