Key Role Summary

The role involves strategic management of joint pole use agreements to support network rollout and expansion. This includes negotiation, implementation, and governance of agreements between Globe and power distribution utilities (DUs).

Responsibilities
  • Manage partnerships and agreements with electric cooperatives (ECs), private DUs, and government-owned utilities; review and manage the legal and commercial terms of joint pole use.
  • Support network deployment by facilitating site-level clearances for pole attachments and route builds; liaise with DUs for timely pole inspections, upgrades, or replacements when needed.
  • Ensure compliance with ERC regulations, NEA circulars, and local ordinances on ROW, pole attachment fees, and co-location; submit and track necessary permits and compliance documents.
  • Monitor and reconcile pole rental costs, validate billing from DUs; recommend pole-sharing or underground alternatives when feasible.
  • Resolve joint pole-related conflicts (e.g., unauthorized attachments, service delays) in assigned areas; build strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
