Job Title: Road Transport Specialist

Job Description:

The Company Driver will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely transportation of staff, clients, and goods to designated locations. This includes offices, airports, and other places as instructed. The driver will maintain company vehicles, ensure safety, and deliver excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safe and timely transportation of staff, clients, and materials to and from various locations (offices, airports, etc.) as per instructions.
  • Use available technology to plot routes and ensure timely deliveries or transfers.
  • Maintain cleanliness and ensure regular checks are done on company vehicles. Carry out both general and preventive maintenance to keep vehicles in optimal condition.
  • Keep accurate records of trips, including passengers, areas traveled, travel time, and work hours.
  • Complete all paperwork related to duties, including trip tickets and expense reports, ensuring accuracy.
  • Immediately report any accidents, injuries, or damages involving company vehicles to your supervisor or manager.
  • Perform additional tasks, such as dropping off and picking up supplies, documents, or running errands as required.
  • Adhere to the company dress code and maintain a professional appearance.
  • Answer clients' inquiries professionally and ensure customer satisfaction at all times.

Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Excellent driving skills and road safety knowledge.
  • Strong attention to detail and vehicle maintenance knowledge.
  • Ability to use navigation technology for efficient route planning.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle paperwork and keep accurate records.
  • Professional demeanor and adherence to company dress code.
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
