Bookkeeper Role Overview

We seek a meticulous and proactive Bookkeeper to contribute to our organization's growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice processing, general ledger coding, vendor maintenance, and record-keeping.
  • Build strong relationships with departments by managing billing and payment issues with timely resolution.
  • Process corporate credit cards in accordance with internal policies and controls.
  • Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and annual close activities, preparing reports as requested by senior management.
  • Review and audit credit card statements and charges for accuracy.
  • Suggest improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Liaise between business units to ensure sales commissions are processed on time.
  • Support ad hoc projects, focusing on marketing research and competitive intelligence.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as data entry, marketing research, and email marketing.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field (preferred).
  • At least 2-3 years of bookkeeping experience, with QuickBooks experience required.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask, establish priorities, and work independently.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail).
  • Must be trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality.
