Financial Operations Specialist

We're looking for a detail-oriented accountant to support financial operations for our growing organization.
This fully remote role involves working closely with the chief financial officer and playing a key part in month-end closing, financial reporting, and SEC filings. The ideal candidate is an experienced accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-integrity environment.
The responsibilities include:
- Closing the books monthly and generating financial reports
- Reconciling bank statements and resolving discrepancies
- Processing invoices and managing payment reconciliations using QuickBooks
- Providing transaction details to support the chief financial officer with SEC filings and audits
- Creating internal tickets for account managers regarding payment issues
- Posting received payments and handling daily bookkeeping tasks
- Assisting in preparing quarterly and annual SEC reports
The qualifications for this role include:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Senior-level accountant; certified public accountant preferred
- Proficient in QuickBooks and other financial software
- High attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with the chief financial officer and auditors
